Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of teaching and associated duties, including undertaking tutorial classes and marking assessment tasks in several undergraduate units within Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Psychology (OUA) and Psychology (Honours) courses.
  • Conduct tutorial classes either on campus or online (via Zoom).
  • Facilitate online discussions and monitor asynchronous tutorial activities for OUA units.
  • Offer regular drop-in sessions via Zoom for students.
  • Mark student assessment items.

Requirements
  • Honours or postgraduate qualification, and/or current enrolment in a higher degree research or postgraduate coursework program relevant to the teaching discipline.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
  • The right to work in Australia for the duration of the session.
  • Background in psychology or cognitive science is desirable.
  • Demonstrated tertiary-level teaching experience, especially in a related field or a similar unit is desirable.
