About You:
The Advisor, Educational Quality reports to the Lead, Educational Quality and works collaboratively to support the design and operationalisation of assurance processes that ensure and enhance the overall quality of academic programs and administrative processes for higher education learning and teaching in the university. This position requires highly organised and detail-oriented attention for engaging in quality management activities and a deep understanding of university L&T operations.
The Advisor works with the Senior Advisor, Educational Quality and the broader CEIQ team to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and processes, with the goal of supporting continuous improvement and academic excellence throughout the institution. Operating within a team framework, the Advisor provides high quality support, and develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including College quality teams and teaching staff. The role also supports wider quality work with key administrative and subject matter duties to ensure broader outcomes are achieved.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at a range of organisational levels and from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively in a team and with minimal supervision to complete tasks
- Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to organise work with a high attention to detail and manage competing priorities and ad hoc requests
- Ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills for following through tasks and ensuring positive solutions on operational issues
- Excellent written communication skills including the ability to research, prepare reports and presentations
- Demonstrated ability to interpret policy, procedure and legislation and to ensure best practice in all academic quality areas.
