Salary
  • Level B $113,157 - $133,837 + 17% Superannuation OR Level C $137,971 - $158,658 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time)

Responsibilities
  • Lead teaching teams within the Master of Speech Pathology program.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of student learning experiences and outcomes.
  • Initiate, design, and conduct high-quality scholarly and creative activities to improve teaching and learning outcomes in the Speech Pathology discipline.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design, develop, implement, evaluate, and refine an innovative curriculum and pedagogy that aligns with accreditation requirements set by Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Contribute to accreditation preparation and the development of student teaching, learning, and placement experiences.

Requirements
  • Qualification as a speech pathologist at undergraduate or graduate level plus either a PhD in a relevant area or advanced qualifications and experience in academic speech pathology.
  • Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of speech pathology course accreditation processes, professional competency development and professional standards, and of contemporary issues relating to the profession.
  • Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning.
  • Ability to deliver effective teaching practices to improve student success and engagement.
