About This Opportunity
The Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor and Speciality Lead (Mayne Academy for General Practice) is responsible for providing specialty specific educational leadership across all four years of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. This will be achieved through close collaboration with other specialties, the Academy for Medical Education and the three Clinical Schools. Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor and Speciality Lead (Mayne Academy for General Practice) will contribute to the continual quality improvement of the MD program including the refinement of learning outcomes, learning experiences, learning resources, assessment, and staff development. They will also work closely with discipline specific staff in each of the Clinical Schools to ensure the consistent provision of integrated specialty education.
The preferred Academic Category for this position is Teaching Focused. Appointment under the Academic Category of Clinical Academic may be considered in discussion with the preferred candidate.
