Salary
  • Base salary range: Level B, $113,934 – $134,824 p.a plus 17% superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead high quality classroom and online teaching and tutoring, and unit coordination in Podiatric Medicine
  • Supervise undergraduate and/or postgraduate honours, dissertation and research thesis students
  • Participate in School, University meetings and committees as required by the Head of Discipline
  • Assist with clinic management and supervision of students within clinical areas as required
  • Work collaboratively within the teaching teams and support the University’s commitment to equity and diversity principles

Requirements
  • Unrestricted registration as a Podiatrist by the Podiatry Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and teaching experience in, Podiatric Medicine and/or Podiatric Surgery, including scheduled medicines, in a University environment. A teaching portfolio is recommended evidence of teaching experience
  • Demonstrated ability to administer and coordinate academic units and programs in teaching and learning
  • Ability to demonstrate innovative and flexible teaching methods, such as case enhanced learning and e-learning
