About Information Technology and Digital Services
Information Technology & Digital Services (ITDS) is a key enabling service provider within the University. It is responsible for the strategic deployment and use of information and communication technology services, systems, and infrastructure. The primary role of ITDS is to support the University’s learning, teaching and research activities as well as the business systems and operational units that underpin the University’s core activities.
ITDS operates across all campuses, providing the University’s IT infrastructure, platforms and services, online, telephone- and campus-based support. In addition, it conducts an annual program of strategic projects designed to enhance, replace or introduce new IT infrastructure, platforms and services to promote innovation and support the University’s strategic direction.
About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within Information Technology and Digital Services for a Campus Support and Print Services Manager to join the team.
The Campus Support and Print Service Manager will plan and manage the delivery of IT and Digital support services at the campus level. This ensures that students and staff within Schools, Institutes, and Units receive an exceptional customer experience and allows them to focus on their core purposes of learning, teaching, and research. The Campus Support and Print Service Manager will oversee a team of staff across various locations and support hours, servicing a comprehensive range of campus-based ICT resources, including computer labs, teaching spaces, audio-visual equipment, office technology, printers, and mobile devices. The Campus Support and Print Service Manager will resolve as many incidents and requests as possible at the first point of contact.
Additionally, the Campus Support and Print Service Manager will manage the customer service and operational aspects of the printer fleet and associated cost recovery system, while also leading strategic initiatives in print services. The Campus Support and Print Service Manager will inspire your team with enthusiasm, promoting and delivering on the IT Strategy using your skills, experience, and available resources.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Western’s Parramatta South Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly qualified professional with tertiary (preferably postgraduate) qualifications or extensive experience in managing IT user support services, ideally using a recognised framework such as ITIL, with practitioner accreditation. A broad understanding of PC hardware and software systems, audio-visual technologies, and IT infrastructure components is essential. The successful candidate will have practical knowledge of frameworks like PRINCE2 and ITIL V3, and the ability to manage user support services proactively.
The successful candidate will have proven leadership in IT services within large, complex organisations, including significant management experience. They should possess excellent communication and customer service skills, along with a commitment to principles of anti-discrimination, staff and student equity, and work health and safety. We are looking for a collaborative, autonomous professional capable of working under pressure and available for evening shifts.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 9 $155,690 to $166,265 p.a. (comprising Salary of $131,560 to $140,496 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
