About the area:
UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.
The redesign of the Infrastructure and Platform unit aims to deliver design and operational services through a portfolio comprised of a Network and Systems section and an End User Compute section.
About the opportunity:
You will be responsible for providing technical support and audio-visual solutions, including remote, in-venue, conferencing, signage, and lecture capture systems, in line with UWA standards.
Work collaboratively to support the consistent, quality delivery of teaching and otherwise maintain and support the effective delivery of UWA’s AV requirements.
The role is fast paced and based on site (Crawley Campus) to provide face to face AV support.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Proficiency in a range of Audio-Visual technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Digital Signage, DSP’s, AV over IP, AV control systems, AV switching & Multicast streaming technologies.
- Relevant Industry provided and recognised AV training (CTS, CCNA, Electronics Trade Cert) and or accreditation is desirable.
- ITIL certification or experience in ITIL processes is desirable.
- Energetic, Team Player, able to think on your feet, and customer focused.
- Note: “C” class driver’s licence will be required, also occasional travel, including interstate and to remote sites.
