Enrolment Officer
Position: Enrolment position within Student Admin and Library Services
Type: Full-time, 12 months fixed-term position at our Hawthorn campus
Salary: HEW Level 5 salary + 17% superannuation and staff benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Enrolment Officer to join our team at Swinburne University to manage the planning, processing, scheduling and delivery of the student enrolment processes and activities that occur across the organisation for all student cohorts.
In this role, you will focus on supporting the further development of enrolment/re-enrolment processes across the University. You will assist the Coordinator, Enrolment Operations and Compliance Services to ensure that all enrolment related activity runs smoothly and on schedule, and you will work closely with other enrolment staff to ensure that student enrolment administration needs are met and that students have a positive and hassle-free enrolment experience.
This role is expected to act as a subject matter expert for key operational activities and is required to work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that students’ transition from application to enrolment occurs and that their experience is a seamless one.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated ability in customer/student focused operations.
- Demonstrated commitment of excellence in the provision of service, quality and the promotion of a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to investigate and make informed decisions regarding complex issues.
- Proven capacity to conceptualise, develop, review and maintain significant policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use effectively a variety of other computer software packages such as the University’s Student Management System.
- Experience in higher education / vocational education / Foundation and Pathways administration management, especially in relation to enrolments, course advice and enquiry management is preferred.
Qualifications
- Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
- Completion of an associate diploma and subsequent relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
