The Opportunity
In this role you will provide administrative support and your technical expertise in the ongoing management, preparation, submission and compliance of ethics and governance aspects of clinical trials projects across the UniSC Clinical Trials network.
You will apply working knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines and technical expertise in the ethics and regulatory processes to perform administrative aspects of ethics and governance submissions across the UniSC CT network.
You will:
- create site-specific customisations of trial documents and perform internal governance review of such documents;
- manage a high volume of communication to coordinate team review of study initial submission and amendments;
- monitor annual report due dates, provide notification and templates to the clinical team when reporting is due, and complete data transfer to the ethics committee portals;
- manage a high volume of communication to coordinate team review of study initial submission and amendments.

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a professional, and positive demeanour. You will enjoy showcasing your ability to multitask and pride yourself on your capability to maintain confidentiality and high levels of accuracy when dealing with client information/data. Additionally, you will thrive working as part of a multidisciplinary team, where you can exercise your sound judgement, take initiative and problem solve to deliver successful outcomes.
You will possess:
- completion of a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
- sound knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice and applicable regulations;
- high level computing skills (including databases, clinical trial electronic data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel); and
- sound understanding of privacy principles governing health information.
