Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver courses in mathematics or statistics.
  • Engage in curriculum design and coordinate courses.
  • Assess student performance and provide academic counselling.
  • Establish a research program and collaborate on research projects.
  • Seek and manage research funding and publish in reputable journals.
  • Supervise Higher Degree by Research (PhD and MPhil) and postgraduate coursework students.
  • Conduct high-quality research and perform administrative duties.

Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent in mathematics or statistics.
  • For Level B (Lecturer): A growing profile in teaching and research, evidence of effective supervision, and contributions to external activities.
  • For Level C (Senior Lecturer): An established profile in teaching and research, evidence of successful applications for external funding, and effective supervision of students.
