Salary
  • Base salary will be in the range $134,845 - $155,246 + 17% Superannuation (Academic Level C)

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality academic leadership and support for Year 3 and 4 students, including guidance, remediation, and career advice.
  • Coordinate and oversee medical programs, ensuring effective clinical immersion experiences and engagement with learning activities.
  • Contribute to staff training, monitor student progress, and participate in continuous professional development to enhance overall learning quality.
  • Demonstrate behaviours that align to the UQ values and contribute to a respectful, inclusive and culturally safe workplace.

Requirements
  • Medical qualification and eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia.
  • An established profile in clinical teaching.
  • Evidence of a substantial senior contribution to quality clinical teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional entry level.
  • Expert discipline knowledge and extensive experience in a general or specialist capacity, including evidence of dissemination of new and innovative clinical techniques.
  • A strong track record of participation in the development and continuous innovation of new programs, curriculum design and course material in the discipline area.
  • A solid record of contribution to the supervision of trainees in clinical specialty training programs.
  • A growing record of meaningful internal service roles in conjunction with demonstrated leadership roles in external activities.
