Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality onsite clinical leadership of the FedCare clinic.
  • Significantly contribute to the strategic planning of FedCare services ensuring continued growth and development.
  • Develop and implement strategies addressing and resolving external issues in postgraduate training in psychology.
  • Provide extensive technical knowledge and expertise to both individual and group supervision of provisional psychologists.
  • Lead clinic operations, including client intake and allocations using criterion and critical judgement to assess and allocate provisional psychologists to clinical rotations.
  • Create a positive clinic culture and supportive environment for both clinical services and training consistent with the Institute’s aims.

Requirements
  • General registration as a psychologist, clinical endorsement with AHPRA, and Board Approved supervisor status with PsyBA.
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and supervising cases across the lifespan.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising provisional and/or early career psychologists, including proven management of their progress and performance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health services and referral pathways.
  • All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
