Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the teaching efforts of the School within the Cyber Security & Software Systems (CSSS) Discipline.
  • Carry out various teaching and assessment activities within the Cyber Security and Software Engineering programs.
  • Work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team to achieve desired student outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver teaching and/or marking.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor Honours degree or above. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and extensive teaching/industry experience may be eligible for appointment after a Qualifications Equivalency assessment.
  • Previous experience with cyber security, software engineering and/or cloud computing.
  • Evidence of teaching ability and capacity to engage students in an enthusiastic, concise, engaging, and informative manner.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of requisite content for courses taught within Cyber Security & Software Systems (CSSS) programs.
  • Demonstrable ability to grade student assessments and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Appointment is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
