Responsibilities
  • Manage all things HSW within the College of Vocational Education (VE).
  • Handle services, engagement, communications, planning, and operations related to HSW.
  • Engage and plan effectively to help OH&S and HSW committees achieve their goals.
  • Ensure students and staff enjoy a safe and positive learning and teaching environment.
  • Deliver top-notch and responsive HSW services that meet all relevant legislation.
  • Work closely with other Colleges and Portfolios to set up effective systems, processes, and supports.

Requirements
  • Knowledge and application of OHS legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in a multi-site environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills including complaint handling.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in providing high-level support and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, planning and organisational skills with the ability to lead projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
