Responsibilities
  • Implement the delivery of key community participation programs under the supervision of the Commercial Programs Manager.
  • Identify and action participation targets and growth outcomes for various programs including School Holiday Programs and Children’s Birthday Parties.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sports Coordinator to activate community engagement programs and integrate diverse communities into participation programs.
  • Liaise and build effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase demand for active recreation programs.
  • Facilitate end-to-end bookings and program administration for all dry program enquiries, including responding to queries and confirming bookings.
  • Supervise the front-line dry-programs team to ensure safe and engaging active recreation programs, including recruitment, training, and payroll management.

Requirements
  • Relevant undergraduate qualifications in sport management, sport and exercise science, or related fields; or equivalent experience and education/training.
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering active recreation programs in community participation and education sectors.
  • Ability to assess community and stakeholder needs and implement new initiatives in response.
  • Proven ability to lead and engage a team of front-line staff and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in ensuring compliance and management of risk for safe program delivery.
  • A positive and proactive approach to work, with willingness to upskill as required.
