Drive a continuous improvement approach to maintenance and contractor management services at UWA through seasoned maintenance management experience in highly complex and dynamic environments.
Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
Base salary: $139,928 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
Campus Management is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and managing the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research and campus life. Campus Management delivers a range of university-wide services including strategic planning, property management, facilities operations, major projects and developments, sustainability, landscape, security, and transport. Within the Central Service Delivery Centre (SDC), the role shares accountability for the operational delivery of Campus Management services and its primary customers are the Central Units and the whole of the University.
About the opportunity
- Provide efficient and effective delivery of physical asset maintenance services
- Provide key operational planning and exceptional leadership.
- Establish and influencing best practice approach to maintenance management, contractor management and safety.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Substantial and extensive relevant experience in asset management including managing buildings and engineering infrastructure, central plant chillers, cooling towers, vertical transport, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Extensive experience in planning, scheduling, and the delivery of maintenance, renewal projects and asset replacement programs
- Substantial leadership and management experience including providing career progression, succession, and development.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically lead and drive teams and projects
