About the Role
The Curriculum Data and Reporting Officer collaborates with Academic Divisions to support the configuration and publication of academic programs, enhancing student administration from admissions to graduations. The role focuses on improving course and subject data processes, managing relationships, and ensuring timely delivery for key publications. Strong stakeholder management and a focus on service excellence are essential to support the University’s curriculum and student experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting course and subject data updates, curriculum configuration, and stakeholder relationships to support timely publication and service delivery.
- Provide reports, system support, and manage workflow queues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate on service improvements and use data to enhance the student experience and meet service targets.
- Support government reporting, compliance, and contribute to peak period activities across Student Administration.
Who we are looking for
You will have a strong customer-focused approach with excellent service and communication skills, along with experience in process improvement and problem-solving with a customer-centric focus. You will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across teams, support complex systems, and possess excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines effectively.
You will also have:
- Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Data literate, proficient in using databases, spreadsheets, and digital tools to perform tasks and analyse data for informed decision-making.
- Knowledge of the student administration lifecycle, including an understanding of the system architecture and the role of course and subject data in enhancing the student experience.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

Student and Scholarly Services (SASS) handles student administration from recruitment to graduation. The Executive Directorate, led by the Executive Director and Academic Registrar, manages student grievances, operational planning, and communications, while providing support to the Executive Director and sub-portfolio directors.
