Salary
  • Professional Staff Level 8 - from $123,044 + 17% superannuation

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of activities to support key performance activities.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPI) and other measures of progress that align with the University’s strategic and operational objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to design and maintain automated solutions for performance KPIs and metrics.
  • Establish and maintain communication pathways and working relationships with UNSW stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis to support strategic and operational performance objectives through critical analyses and scenario modelling.
  • Prepare evidence-based strategic insights and presentations for senior executives.
  • Assist with benchmarking analysis and preparing performance reports.
  • Apply high level skills in the design and implementation of data models and ensure process documentation meets business requirements.
  • Support the development of University strategies to improve performance.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in analytics, mathematics/statistics, business or engineering.
  • Proven experience coordinating and delivering on strategic activities in a complex environment, ideally in higher education.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships and initiate change using interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex analysis to stakeholders in an effective manner.
  • Proven ability to manipulate and analyse data using various tools and coding capabilities.
  • Advanced project management skills to manage multiple concurrent complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with independence, judgment, and discretion.
  • High level administrative and organisation skills to prioritise workflow.
