Responsibilities
  • Balance the creation and dissemination of knowledge through teaching, research, and industry engagement.
  • Make a significant contribution to the delivery of Marketing programs.
  • Be actively involved in research, consulting, and other professional activities.
  • Engage with relevant industry stakeholders and attract competitive grants.
  • Publish in high impact journals and supervise postgraduate research students and postdoctoral research staff.
  • Assist in maintaining learning and teaching excellence and developing programs.
  • Carry out administrative tasks for the School in both onshore and offshore activities.
  • Work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within teaching, program and research teams.

Requirements
  • PhD in the field of Marketing (those near completion will be considered).
  • Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver Marketing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Ability to undertake course coordination roles and negotiate sensitively with students.
  • Ability to effectively contribute to the supervision of higher degree by research candidates.
  • Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with higher degree by research candidates, staff, and industry.
