Remuneration: $80,464 - $109,203 pa Level A (plus 17% employer superannuation)
The Opportunity
Reporting to the ITTC Director in the School of Chemistry, the Research Fellow will focus on advancing radiochemical technologies. This role involves conducting innovative research into molecular incorporation of radioactive elements, metal radionuclide chelation, and peptidomimetic targeting molecules. The successful candidate will contribute to both research and the development of bespoke training programs to build a skilled workforce for the expanding global radiopharmaceutical market.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting high-impact research with minimal supervision
- Contributing to and presenting research findings through publications and conferences
- Designing and operating advanced laboratory equipment
- Developing research-related materials for teaching
- Collaborating with postgraduate students and attending relevant meetings
The successful candidate will need to meet the following compliance requirements with Australian sanctions laws and with the Monash University Responsible Conduct of Research Policy. As such only candidates that meet the requirements from a sanctioned country will be appointed to this position.
