About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Website Author has become available within Swinburne’s Future Students team.
This ongoing role will allow the successful applicant to jump into a friendly and collaborative team to deliver user-centric website experiences for prospective student audiences. The Website Author will assist in the ideation and build of new website pages, maintain existing pages, and optimise user journeys across the Swinburne digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- You’ll support the team to develop digital content strategy for user journeys of key customer segments.
- You’ll be authoring and publishing new web pages, and managing existing pages, including component selection and cross-linking across the site, to support in campaign delivery.
- Work alongside UX, CX, SEO, accessibility and analytics specialists to utilise best practice strategies and enable continuous improvement of website authoring processes.
- Support the team in tagging, testing and reporting of web experiences to inform future planning and campaign efficacy.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience working in a content authoring role.
- Experience in authoring website content plans using an enterprise-level content management system and digital asset management platform.
- Experience using Adobe Experience Manager would be highly desirable but can be taught to the successful applicant.
- Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Existing knowledge of user and customer experience, and analytics would also be beneficial.
Qualifications
A degree in marketing, media, communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
