Salary
  • Salary in the range $89,861.38 - $96,402.32 (HEW 6), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate information and digital literacy programs.
  • Provide advice on research, research evaluation, and impact, including research data management.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain library content in digital formats.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and management of the library's collection, including learning resources.
  • Provide advanced information and advice on library resources and UQ systems.
  • Communicate proactively with clients.
  • Participate in library projects and contribute effectively to the library team.
  • Any other duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor.

Requirements
  • Hold relevant qualifications for associate membership in the Australian Library and Information Association or has equivalent experience in academic, research or special libraries.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current trends in research, learning, and teaching within academic institutions.
  • Possess substantial knowledge of information resources, including current tools and technologies used in academic libraries.
  • Substantial experience in delivering information services to support research, learning, and teaching, such as providing advice on search strategies and systematic reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide client focused advanced information assistance and information and digital literacy programs through a variety of flexible delivery options.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with others and has a positive and inclusive mindset.
  • You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
