Internal Communications and Engagement Manager

Salary
  • Total remuneration valued to $130,436 - $145,816 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $110,220 - $123,227 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.

Responsibilities
  • Driving the development and implementation of the University's internal communications plan.
  • Driving staff awareness of and engagement with positive developments in the university and building understanding in the event of problems.
  • Working collaboratively with organisational units to understand their communication needs, gaps and issues, and formulate impactful internal communications plans.
  • Advising and coaching senior managers on their role in effective internal communications and staff engagement.
