Responsibilities
  • Coordinating key student events such as Orientation/Welcome Days, Club days, and smaller events throughout the year.
  • Event planning and design.
  • Supervision of event suppliers and workforce (student volunteers and casuals).
  • Ensuring student event governance and health & safety compliance.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, delivery, and evaluation of events.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and initiative in improving practices and services.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Evidence of project management skills including budget and financial management.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
  • Experience in providing high-level administrative support in a university or similar environment.
