The Opportunity
Join our team as a Research Fellow at the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC), where you'll drive advancements in health economics research linked to clinical trials, with a focus on economic evaluations alongside adaptive platform trials. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative research projects and secure competitive research funding, ensuring the program's ongoing excellence in health economics.
This position involves conducting health economics research linked to clinical trials, both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include using advanced health economics methodologies to evaluate the efficiencies and cost-effectiveness of various clinical trial designs, conducting cost-effectiveness analyses alongside clinical trials, and contributing to research tasks such as comprehensive literature reviews, data analysis and scientific publications.
We seek candidates with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications or research experience. Essential skills include demonstrated analytical and manuscript preparation abilities, a proven track record of refereed research publications and proficiency with software packages such as STATA, R, and TreeAge for health economics data analysis.
