- Base Salary HEO5, $83,384 - $93,362 p.a. (pro rata) + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The
School of Computer Science are welcoming applications for an Administrative Officer to deliver daily administration activities and services to ensure that high quality and efficient administrative support is provided in a proactive manner to staff, academics, students, clients and visitors to the School.
Reporting to the School Manager, the successful incumbent will be expected to support the team by being the first point of contact for the office and to provide school specific administration services and support.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- respond to a range of enquiries via email, from staff, students, visitors and the general public regarding a wide range of the work area’s activities
- coordinate teaching and curriculum processes including timetabling, examinations, assessments and result processing liaising as required with the School’s Teaching and Curriculum / Education Support Officers
- coordinate diaries, meetings and events and provide conference support for the work area
- maintain records and reporting for the work area
- provide administrative support to the education team, academics and school manager.

- working knowledge of software programs such as Office 365 Suite, Canvas, Records Management, and Content Management Systems
- experience with student administration, timetabling and research associated software programs
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to
- prioritise workload during busy periods.
