About the Role:
The role of the Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Psychology will contribute to teaching and research in the Psychology Discipline. Academic supervision of students undertaking research will be a feature of this role, as will the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods which align with contemporary practice.
This role is a teaching and research position at an Academic B $105,662 - $125,473 or Academic C $129,435 - $149,246 (depending on experience) plus 17% employer superannuation contribution. The continuing appointment is available on a full time basis (36.75 hours per week).
About You:
You will be expected to hold a PhD in Psychology and will have experience teaching at the tertiary level, with a commitment to excellence and innovation in curriculum development and delivery. You will have a demonstrated record of peer reviewed publications and, if applying for Senior Lecturer, will have successful funding at the national or international level. Expertise in one of the following areas of teaching and/or practice is essential: Cognitive Psychology, Biological Psychology or Research Methods.
