Responsibilities
- Conduct research independently or collaboratively, contributing to high-quality publications and conference presentations
- Engage in professional activities, including attending relevant seminars and conferences
- Support limited administrative functions and develop research-related materials for teaching as needed
- Design and execute advanced laboratory experiments, utilizing sophisticated equipment and methodologies

Requirements
- A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or a closely related field
- Proven research skills, including manuscript preparation and a track record of refereed publications
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in iPSC cell culture, differentiation, organ-on-chip technology, muscle biology, and microscopy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software, with a willingness to learn new tools

Responsibilities
- Providing leadership to the Epidemiology Section, ensuring high-quality, timely epidemiological and genomic services, while fostering teamwork and staff development.
- Overseeing the delivery of accurate, legally robust testing and reporting services, ensuring compliance with quality accreditation standards.
- Collaborating with government bodies, industry, and academic institutions to advance public health outcomes and contributing to national and global health initiatives.
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in infectious disease epidemiology (e.g., MPH, MAE) or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in epidemiological and genomic data analysis for infectious disease surveillance.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological standards and accreditation frameworks (e.g., NATA, National Health Security Act).
- Ability to work effectively with public health authorities and external stakeholders, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
