$134,532 to $149,345 p.a. Inclusive of Superannuation + Leave Loading
Responsibilities
Lead the establishment, governance, and administration of the ARC Training Centre for Smart and Sustainable Horticulture (TC - SaSH).
Oversee the Centre’s portfolio of research projects and manage financial commitments.
Provide high-level advice to the Centre’s Committees.
Establish and manage key partnerships within and outside WSU.
Ensure effective internal and external communication among the Centre’s project teams.
Lead the development and implementation of the Centre’s strategic and operational plans.
Identify opportunities and risks, and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Lead the Centre’s communications plan, engaging in outreach activities, media relations, and the development of promotional materials.
Requirements
Postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience, ideally within a university or research centre environment.
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage diverse responsibilities.
Strategic thinker with high-level advice and sound judgment capabilities.
Excellence in strategic planning, financial management, and governance.
Strong risk management skills.
Exceptional communication skills in marketing, event management, and outreach activities.
Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of research contract management and intellectual property issues.
Commitment to work health and safety and equal opportunity principles.
