Responsibilities
Contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School, particularly in literacy education.
Supervise research projects and theses at the postgraduate level.
Contribute to School, College and University strategic plan targets in research and/or consultancy.
Maintain and develop professional standing within the profession or discipline.
Work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team.
Undertake administrative tasks as appropriate.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery.
Ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
Ability to undertake course coordination role.
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students on effective learning issues.
Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs evidenced by publications and development of new research initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree by research candidates.
Mandatory: PhD in a relevant discipline.
