Lead and implement innovative projects with the HSW and Facilities Manager and School Manager to create operational efficiencies and improve workplace health, safety, and wellness.
Advise and support School and Faculty stakeholders on Workplace Health and Safety Act responsibilities and best practices, including developing WHS Management Plans; assist in WHS report writing, data analysis, and corrective actions.
Identify hazards, propose/implement risk control measures and management strategies, advise on risk assessment requirements for laboratories and research projects, participate in OH&S committees and comply with Queensland WHS legislation and University procedures.
