$80,464 - $109,203 pa Level A / $114,951 - $136,505 pa Level B (plus 17% employer superannuation)
Responsibilities
Conduct research on complex quantum processes, particularly using the process tensor formalism, and leverage practical quantum computing experience.
Simulate complex quantum processes on quantum computers to uncover exotic dynamical phenomena.
Co-supervise students and provide guidance in programming on quantum computers.
Build and sustain long-term quantum computing and simulation capabilities at Monash University.
Requirements
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Maths, or Physics
Expertise in complex quantum processes, quantum error corrections, tensor networks, optimisation and machine learning, and developing software infrastructure
Some experience in quantum engineering, quantum computing, and/or quantum information sciences
Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and/or experience with quantum hardware
Ability to collaborate within research teams and engage in mentoring students.
