Base salary will be in the range $111,154.58 - $124,619.84 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Coral Reef Rescue Project, ensuring alignment with goals, coordinating activities across six countries, and supervising National Technical Facilitators (NTFs).
Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, manage contracts and agreements, and monitor project outcomes, reporting progress against objectives and budgets.
Guide the Project Management Unit (PMU), external consultants, and partners while representing the project at global steering committees and international knowledge-sharing events.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, and post-graduate degree is desirable
Minimum 5 years relevant project management experience, including demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate high profile, multi-stakeholder projects.
Adaptive management skills
Project management expertise, including experience managing subgrantees, operational requirements, financials, logistics, monitoring and evaluation and managing a diverse team.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
Experience with GEF Projects and knowledge of the GEF is an advantage
Effective stakeholder liaison skills and demonstrated experience managing projects in a complex, multistakeholder environment
Technical expertise in natural resource management, experience and understanding of coastal reef management and marine protected areas is desirable.
