Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Coral Reef Rescue Project, ensuring alignment with goals, coordinating activities across six countries, and supervising National Technical Facilitators (NTFs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, manage contracts and agreements, and monitor project outcomes, reporting progress against objectives and budgets.
- Guide the Project Management Unit (PMU), external consultants, and partners while representing the project at global steering committees and international knowledge-sharing events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, and post-graduate degree is desirable
- Minimum 5 years relevant project management experience, including demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate high profile, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Adaptive management skills
- Project management expertise, including experience managing subgrantees, operational requirements, financials, logistics, monitoring and evaluation and managing a diverse team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
- Experience with GEF Projects and knowledge of the GEF is an advantage
- Effective stakeholder liaison skills and demonstrated experience managing projects in a complex, multistakeholder environment
- Technical expertise in natural resource management, experience and understanding of coastal reef management and marine protected areas is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Develop and provide the necessary documentation to support the management and coordination of gender-based violence primary prevention programs including development of reports, presentation and communications.
- Provide high-level administrative and business support to the Incident Prevention and Education team as required.
- Regularly review legislation, standards and policy (including International Branch Campuses) to ensure Deakin is maintaining compliance with relevant authorities, legislative frameworks and best practice.
- Provide subject matter expertise on induction and compliance training for all staff and students.
- Plan and prioritise work and recognise barriers to achieving outcomes, finding effective ways to deal with them and evaluate progress.
- Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions based on the Inclusion team or stakeholder needs.

Requirements
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive, relevant experience and specialist knowledge in project support or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience of working in a complex organisation with multiple policies, procedures and operating practices with the ability to interpret these policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the principals of primary prevention or positive duty.
