Responsibilities
Join the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research (FNCWR) team to contribute to research focused on improving cancer outcomes and overall wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Engage with communities and the community-controlled health sector to achieve equitable health and wellbeing for First Nations peoples.
Deliver high-impact research for and with First Nations peoples, exploring new directions in research.
Conduct qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research in various health disciplines.
Requirements
Must be Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander as per s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).
Evidence of being an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person is required.
Must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
Candidates may be required to complete pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and education check.
