Salary
Total remuneration valued to $106,366 - $114,254 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $89,881 - $96,546 (pro rata) pa (HEW 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of the ENVISAGE First Peoples program nationwide.
Collaborate with the ENVISAGE Leadership Team, National Project Manager, National Evaluation Manager, and National ENVISAGE Indigenous Community Engagement Coordinator.
Ensure effective working of parent-peer facilitators to deliver a high-quality culturally safe experience to program participants.
Provide support and training to facilitators to ensure they are competent and confident in delivering ENVISAGE First Peoples.
Foster a collaborative community of practice and facilitate connections with community leaders, facilitators, and other ENVISAGE staff.
Support administrative, research, technical, and evaluation activities for the ENVISAGE First Peoples project.

The primary focus of the VC Indigenous Doctoral Fellow is to undertake research activities directed towards the completion of a PhD in line with the University’s research strategy.
Limited other functions associated with the position, which may include engagement activities, presentation of lectures and tutorials, assessment of students and course administration in line with the University’s quality assurance requirements. A maximum of 10% of workload is to be allocated to non-PhD related activity.
Requirements
Aboriginality’ or ‘Must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage’ is an ‘Essential Selection Criteria'.
Appropriate academic background or equivalence to gain admission to PhD candidature.
Ability to work autonomously whilst displaying a strong commitment to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads and respond to changing priorities as required.
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
