Requirements
Substantial experience in point-of-care diagnostics, specifically in developing highly sensitive lateral flow devices (LFDs).
Prior research experience in developing LFDs is mandatory.
Complementary knowledge across nanotechnology, molecular biology and bioconjugation is an advantage.
Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs evidenced by publications and development of new research initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to supervise higher-degree by research candidates.
Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with higher degree by research candidates, staff, and industry.
Strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Values-led approach to academic practice and commitment to promoting principles of inclusion, diversity, equity and wider ‘Responsible Practice’.
Passing a Working with Children and National Police Check is required.
