Responsibilities

Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience
- 2+ years of experience managing academic technology, distance learning and/or online initiatives
- Proven ability to set and achieve goals
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Excellent interpersonal, project management and written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed customer service skills and proven ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships
- Knowledge of Brightspace and other Instructional Technology tools such as echo360
- Proficiency with emerging technologies, such as podcasting, vodcasting, asynchronous/synchronous technologies and virtual worlds
- Ability to plan and lead training for faculty utilizing technology
- Comfortable leading and facilitating demos, workshops, training seminars
- Experience with Banner and ILP preferred
- Knowledge of multimedia instructional technologies and synchronous and asynchronous instructional strategies
- Strong understanding of distance education delivery methods
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- A willingness/eagerness to mentor staff
- Comfortable leading and managing multiple vendor relationships
- Ability to lead and run large meetings, facilitate vendor demos, workshops, and training seminars

Salary
- The 2022 value was $28,854 AUD. Successful scholarship applicants will receive a tax-free scholarship, indexed annually, and beginning in February or April 2023, for 3 years. The award will provide living allowances and tuition fees for international students for 3-3.5 years.
Responsibilities
- Complete a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) at Griffith University (Gold Coast campus), Australia.
- Be co-supervised by Griffith Health Clinical Science academics Dr Jayishni Maharaj and Prof Jim Woodburn.
- Integrate into the research programs focusing on foot and ankle health and rehabilitation.
- Innovate current management interventions to reduce foot ulcerations in people with diabetes.
- Combine personalised biophysical modelling, smart textile technologies, and advanced manufacturing techniques to optimise and 3D print interventions.
Requirements
- Awarded a, or on track by December 2022 to receive a first-class Honours in a related area e.g., Exercise Science, Podiatry, Biomedical science, or Biomedical Engineering.
- A Master of Philosophy or Masters by course work with an overall grade >85%, that contained a substantial research project component in one of these areas; with an interest in physiological adaptations to exercise.
- Experience in conducting human research (desirable).
- Experience with some signal processing and coding in MATLAB or Python, and experience with processing medical imaging (desirable).
- Experience with publishing in high-quality peer-reviewed scientific journals (desirable).
