Responsibilities
Design, deliver, and assess high-quality education and training programs in Electrical.
Ensure compliance with industry standards while meeting the diverse needs of learners and clients.
Adapt and customize teaching for certificate-level courses to diplomas and associate degrees.
Contribute to planning, evaluation, and program delivery in a collaborative team environment.
Focus on units from Swinburne's current Electrical Training Packages, including UEE30811, UEE22011, and Fee-For-Service courses.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in Electrical.
Ability to foster an inclusive, customized, and safe learning environment.
Experience in continuous improvement and developing high quality teaching and assessment materials.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build constructive relationships with colleagues.
Ability to identify own learning needs and seek professional development opportunities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a commitment to teaching excellence.
Sound computer skills including MS Office and Learning Management Systems.
Current practical experience in the Electrical industry.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or equivalent (Essential).
Qualified ‘A’ Grade Electrician with significant experience (Essential).
Solar Accreditation or Qualifications and/or Experience (Desirable).
Data Communications Qualifications and/or Experience (Desirable).
Diploma in VET / Adult Education (Desirable).
