Assist with content creation, scheduling and publishing in English, including websites, social channels, videos, infographics, fact sheets, posters, protocols, guides, slide kits and newsletters.
Assist in the delivery of events including seminars, workshops, training programs and launches in multiple delivery formats (online, hybrid and in-person).
Support in preparing reports and documentation and other administrative/operational tasks as required, such as purchase orders and supplier management.
Other duties to support RMIT Europe as specified by the Senior Manager, Engagement and Communications.
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high volume, changing environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain the accuracy of information from a variety of sources.
Good computer literacy across a wide range of programs and applications – online communications tools such as MailChimp, TypeForm, Canvas and experience in website content management systems would be advantageous (not mandatory).
Completion of university studies in communications and/or event management related fields.

Total full-time remuneration range $104,689 to $113,382 pa (includes salary range of $88,457 to $95,802 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for academics, students, researchers, and other key stakeholders.
Design and develop online and interactive open education resources.
Provide training and support to assist academics and students in accessing and utilizing scholarly information resources.
Contribute to student learning, teaching, and research.
Support a group of discipline areas within arts, communication and humanities, or education with high-quality collaboration and consultation.
Build and maintain relationships and raise awareness of the Library’s services through outreach activities.
Utilize highly developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
Skills and experience in the academic library context, including trends in library and information services, digital literacy, and open education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, training and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of clients and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and resolve conflict.
Ability to manage a high and constant workload and achieve agreed outcomes.
