Total remuneration range $115,122 to $127,298 pa; Salary range of $83,751 to $90,706 pa (includes salary range of $70,765 to $76,642 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
Responsibilities
Provide expert advice, training, and support to academic staff, helping them integrate open access resources into teaching and learning.
Collaborate with academic teams to identify courses suited for open textbook creation and oversee quality assurance processes such as proofreading, editing, and peer review.
Promote the adoption of open content within curriculum, fostering partnerships and synergies between library resources and open education.
Work with the University Copyright Officer to resolve intellectual property concerns and ensure adherence to copyright and licensing standards.
Collect and analyze data on open content adoption, contributing scholarly work to inform and enhance Library practices.
Maintain effective internal and external partnerships with academic staff, colleagues, service providers, and industry networks to ensure project success.
Requirements
A relevant tertiary qualification and eligibility for Associate Membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
Proven experience in delivering professional learning for academic and professional staff to drive educational innovation.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Expertise in open content platforms, copyright compliance, and licensing standards.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
A commitment to evidence-based practice, using research and data to inform and improve library services.

Contribute to the success of researchers by working closely with colleagues within the Library Research Services team.
Develop, coordinate, and deliver an array of research services and initiatives that enhance the university's research capacity and impact.
Engage with researchers and stakeholders to support activities such as research data management, scholarly publishing, metrics, and training on emerging research tools and research skills.
Requirements
Degree in information management or a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training/experience.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the role of the library in research processes and workflows.
Ability to demonstrate self-awareness, see things from another person’s perspective and actively seek out and act on feedback to improve knowledge, skills and behaviour.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility and to collaborate effectively within and across teams, and with external stakeholders.
