Responsibilities
Conduct world-leading and impactful research in Construction Management.
Teach in areas such as quantity surveying, construction technology, sustainability, contract administration, digital construction, and project management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Collaborate with colleagues in the School and across the University.
Design curriculum and undertake teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students and higher degree research students.
Develop and deliver innovative interdisciplinary academic programs related to Construction Management.
Lead student projects for national and international competitions.
Identify and obtain research grants in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Requirements
Hold a PhD or equivalent in Construction Management or a related field.
Experience contributing to curriculum accreditation with relevant professional bodies.
Proven capacity to obtain substantial research funding from various sources.
Demonstrated leadership experience and innovation in high-quality contemporary curriculum design.
Experience in successful interaction with industry or other external partners in research projects.
Industry experience in a related field is highly regarded.

Collaborate with colleagues in the School and across the University.
Design curriculum and undertake teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Provide supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students and higher degree research students.
Develop and deliver innovative interdisciplinary academic programs related to Construction Management.
Lead student projects for national and international competitions.
Develop and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in projects that address recognised grand challenges with high impact.
Form strategic interdisciplinary teams with staff and students.
Identify and obtain research grants in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Requirements
Hold a PhD or equivalent in Construction Management or a related field.
Experience contributing to curriculum accreditation with relevant professional bodies.
Meet professional registration/accreditation requirements for membership to relevant institutes (AIB, CIOB, RICS, AIBS, AIQS).
Possess an internationally competitive research profile in the Built Environment/Construction Management or a relevant research field.
Demonstrated capacity to obtain substantial research funding from various sources.
Demonstrated leadership experience and innovation in high-quality contemporary curriculum design, development, delivery, and assessment.
Evidence of teaching quality and successful supervision of Master and PhD candidates.
Experience in successful interaction with industry or other external partners in research projects.
