Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive hardware support services for the academic and professional university community, encompassing installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
Offering specialised software support and operating advanced AV equipment for both academic and professional use.
Conducting regular maintenance according to industry standards and ITIL change management procedures.
Maintaining accurate documentation and logs for equipment maintenance and service records.
Offering technical advice and assistance on AV systems to support academic needs.
Collaborating with fellow AV support staff and providing technical guidance to other technical personnel as needed.
Managing database support and administration for AV services.
Representing AV Services and ICT in project meetings and contributing to the design process for major projects.
Overseeing the operation and monitoring of critical AV systems across UniSQ’s campuses.
Managing smaller AV installations and serving as a technical liaison between the university and external vendors.
Developing and supporting programming for complex AV systems, including Q-SYS.
Monitoring video conferencing rooms and resolving technical issues.
Requirements
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field, along with significant experience supporting complex AV equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in the design, installation, and operation of integrated AV facilities, including video conferencing systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
A client-focused approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in IT applications and specialised AV software.

Salary
Base salary range: $91,833 – $97,052 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Responsibilities
Providing technical support and audio-visual solutions, including remote, in-venue, conferencing, signage, and lecture capture systems.
Supporting the consistent, quality delivery of teaching and maintaining UWA’s AV requirements.
Working collaboratively with a dynamic AV support team.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
Proficiency in a range of Audio-Visual technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Digital Signage, DSP’s, AV over IP, AV control systems, AV switching & Multicast streaming technologies.
Relevant Industry provided and recognised AV training (CTS, CCNA, Electronics Trade Cert) and or accreditation is desirable.
ITIL certification or experience in ITIL processes is desirable.
Energetic, Team Player, able to think on your feet, and customer focused.
“C” class driver’s licence will be required, also occasional travel, including interstate and to remote sites.
