Salary Academic Level A6 - B6 ($98,122 - $131,659 + 17% Superannuation)
Responsibilities
Work within RMIT intelligent Automation group on a project funded by Food Agility CRC and Kilcoy Global Foods.
Develop cutting-edge digital twins and AI assistants to enhance manufacturing and operational efficiencies in the food manufacturing sector.
Travel to Queensland several times a year and work within meat processing plants.
Requirements
PhD in relevant field.
Demonstrated experience in developing AI systems to address real-world challenges in data science, computer science, or engineering.
Expertise in managing big data, developing digital twins, applying large language or vision foundation models, or creating AI agent systems.
Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs evidenced by publications and development of new research initiatives.
Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with higher degree by research candidates, staff, and industry.
