About This Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic, diligent and organized Senior Research Administration Officer to support the full research life cycle at the Queensland Immunology Research Centre (QIRC). This position will work closely with the Co-Directors and Executives of the Centre to be the point of contact on research administration and impact assessment. The appointee will facilitate collaborations to accelerate basic and translational immunology research through the leveraging of capabilities, infrastructure and international networks.

About You
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Project Coordinator to apply their subject matter expertise and advanced knowledge to the cross-disciplinary interaction between research teams in the area of immunology and new project initiatives.
Completion of a relevant degree in health sciences or immunology (or other relevant disciplines), or experience and research management expertise in a tertiary setting with subsequent experience in coordinating activities or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated project management skills, including stakeholder management, writing and communication skills, scheduling and budgeting and cost management.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team with competing timelines; and to effectively communicate with staff of all levels, both internal and external to the organisation.
Expertise and proficiency in using a wide range of computer and web applications to achieve high standard communication and promotional materials.
Advanced knowledge of the higher education environment and research funding processes.
Significant experience of working in a teams environment.
Well-developed problem-solving skills, with an ability to forward plan, prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and work with a high level of adaptability, both independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to produce clear, succinct documentation and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a research environment.
