The Student Legislation and Policy Program (SLPP) ensures UQ maintains compliance with legislation and policy changes, along with supporting the 2022-2025 UQ strategies to ‘Build a digital and personalised experience’ (Learning and Student experience), and ‘Invest in capital infrastructure and digital capabilities’ (Securing our Future). The SLPP delivers changes to the Student Administration System (SI-net), Business Process Digitisation Platform (UniTask), and associated integrated systems as required to support ongoing strategic changes to UQ policy and Commonwealth Government legislation and meet the evolving needs of students and staff. This program of work is specifically to address the larger and often more complex changes required to student management systems involving key stakeholders from across faculties and divisions. Expert resources with relevant platform experience are required and the specific projects are typically 3 - 6 months in duration.

Qualifications and training equivalent to a postgraduate degree in IT or related field, or significant progress towards such qualifications, and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
