About the Role
The Infrastructure Applications Analyst/Developer supports and maintains applications within the Enterprise Applications and Technology section. Part of a larger team, you will provide 2nd and 3rd level support, ensuring enterprise applications function correctly and are available. You will follow ITIL processes and agile practices to meet service levels, performing technical and functional analysis as needed to resolve issues promptly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Execute technical support and maintenance, ensuring service requirements and client expectations are met
- Restore services promptly, manage application lifecycles, and maintain software currency
- Facilitate application transitions, manage deployments, and ensure software readiness
- Enhance processes, maintain documentation, and comply with risk management guidelines
Who we are looking for
You will have some programming/scripting knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyse and resolve production incidents. You must have a strong customer focus and relationship management skills with diverse University stakeholders.
You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience
- Industry experience in a complex organisation, preferably within the Higher Education Sector
- Knowledge of information systems, support practices and ITIL across a wide range of enterprise information systems and related technologies
- Strong technical expertise with broad and in-depth knowledge and skills in multiple technology sets including but not limited to Windows Server and desktop, UNIX, OSX, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, MSSQL, MySQL, Filemaker Pro

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
