We are seeking a Manager, Educational Design (AU Course Development) to contribute to one of the largest changes to higher education in Australia over the past 30 years and help shape the new Adelaide University.
The University of South Australia (UniSA) and the University of Adelaide (UoA) are working together to create the new Adelaide University which will commence delivery of new academic programs from 1 January 2026.
In creating Adelaide University, we are combining the strengths and proud traditions of UoA and UniSA to build a new university of global standing, which will be sustainably ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide. The new Adelaide University will drive transformational investments in teaching, learning, research, and innovation - at scale - to secure a prosperous and socially cohesive future for our State and future generations of learners by widening participation, delivering an outstanding student experience, and creating cultural, social, and economic vibrancy.
Learning Enhancement and Innovation (LEI) facilitate, collaborate, design and create engaging and flexible student-centric blended and online learning experiences. In partnership, LEI empower academics to teach and students to learn by providing expertise into design and development of innovative pedagogically-driven practices and learning technologies.
In this rewarding role, you will work under broad direction to lead team members in course design and development and support teaching staff in delivering excellent learning outcomes for students at all levels. As Manager, Educational Design (AU Course Development) you will contribute advice on good practice design for learning activities and other relevant pedagogical considerations such as curriculum and assessment design in higher education. Additionally, the role has responsibility for working with leadership, stakeholders, and team members to deliver effective resource planning.
