The Office of Pro Vice-Chancellor Engagement and Advancement will work collaboratively with First Peoples, regional, national and international communities, peer universities, other tertiary education providers, and industry partners to leverage existing innovations and programs across the University and within our communities. This includes but is not limited to Westerns Alpha Platform, The Academy, Western Sydney Creative, True Reward, Widening Participation, Philanthropy and Community Engagement.
The Office will ensure the University’s transformation into an engaged campus network will be pursued in aid of the communities we serve, and the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of Greater Western Sydney.
Led by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Engagement and Advancement, the Engagement and Advancement Portfolio is responsible for creating the conditions that allow the University to better serve, learn from, connect and partner with the many communities in which the university is found. This important work enables the mission of Western Sydney University.
An exciting opportunity exists within the Office of Pro Vice-Chancellor Engagement and Advancement for a Future Students Engagement Assistant to join the team.
The Future Student Engagement Assistant will provide effective and timely support to the Future Student Engagement team so that departmental goals and objectives can be met. Team responsibilities are diverse, therefore the Future Students Engagement Assistant will provide support for a wide range of activities from student recruitment initiatives, executing engagement high school programs through to pathways and marketing campaigns.
The Future Students Engagement Assistant is responsible for assisting the Future Students Engagement Project Support Officers in the preparation and logistics involved in student recruitment initiatives, pathways and programs, as well as associated administrative duties. They will also contribute to other marketing activities as required by the Director, Future Student Engagement.
The role reports to the Future Student Engagement Project Support Officer.
This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Western’s Hawkesbury Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 4 $87,412 to $93,061 p.a. (comprising Salary of $73,864 to $78,638 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
