The Opportunity
In this role, you will leverage your clinical trial expertise to manage the implementation and execution of clinical research projects and designated clinical trial teams. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, including the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP), UniSC CT's standard operating procedures (SOPs), and relevant regulations, rules, and guidelines. Collaborating closely with the CT team and sponsors, you will oversee and monitor the successful conduct and timely completion of clinical trials. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our clinical trials.
You will
- utilise your clinical trial expertise to oversee the implementation and execution of cutting-edge research initiatives, guiding designated teams to uphold the highest quality standards, including ICH/GCP guidelines and UniSC Clinical Trials SOPs; and
- engage collaboratively with our dynamic CT team and sponsors, driving the seamless progress and timely completion of clinical trials, fostering innovation, and ensuring impactful outcomes that advance healthcare research.
About you
As an experienced and innovative clinical trials leader, you bring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to the table. Your adaptability shines whether working independently or within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. Additionally, you demonstrate proficiency in advanced computing skills, excelling in databases, clinical trial electronic data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets. Your well-rounded expertise and leadership make you an invaluable asset in the field of clinical trials.
You will possess:
- Completion of degree qualification in Health Science/Nursing/Bio-Medicine and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training. Registered Nurses must have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and meet the NMBA professional standards.
- Demonstrated experience, expertise and broad knowledge in ethics/regulatory affairs frameworks.
- Detailed knowledge of clinical research practices, including an understanding of the contractual and ethical obligations of clinical trials, and ICH Good Clinical Practice and applicable regulations.
- High level computing skills (including databases, clinical trial electronic data entry, word processing and spreadsheets).
- Sound understanding of privacy principals governing health information.
